Mini Skirt
All of us may not be into the whole short shorts look that is so popular during the summer months. Some may feel like they don’t have the legs to pull it off our maybe they just don’t want everyone to see their upper thigh. For me I have never been really into shorts however I do love skirts. Skirts are so versatile and work for just running around town or can be dressed up for a girls night out. So this summer why not try out a new look by wearing a patterned mini skirt. Today these mini skirts are not like those old denim skirts you used to wear in grade school, no these mini skirts have some flare. Now you can get mini skirts in so many prints from flowers, patterns, hearts, stripes, and even tye dye.
Putting together a mini skirt outfit doesn’t take brain surgery, just one rule of thumb keep the look sleek by counteracting it’s inherent sexiness with something not quite as sexy. For a top choose something more tame than a skintight tank or revealing blouse, remember less is more. Try to wear a frilly blouse or a loose cami or even an untucked v-neck top. For footwear you can wear clogs, platform wedges or to keep it really minimal for those extremely hot day try flats or sandals.
