For this next post I have a confession. I’m a huge Batman fan. However, not because of the Dark Crusader, but I’m in LOVE with Catwoman. Her seductive eyes were always an attention grabber to me.

Obviously, I’m not alone because now cat eye makeup is trending. Hooray for black eyeliner and cool eyeshadows, they shall now be put to good use. With this makeup look you are in control of the drama. You may choose to create a thick or pencil thin stroke, both look great.

Getting this technique down may take a little practice in the mirror, but I assure you it is well the effort. However, before I send you off to your respective bathrooms to get started don’t forget to keep the rest of your makeup simple. Only let your eyes hold center stage, no sharing.

When i saw the Ad for CND Shellac nail polish i was so excited. My mother and I just got our nails done like a month ago. Now the lady at the store said she wanted to try out this product on my mother for FREE. Yes FREE! Telling her that with this process the nail polish will stay on for weeks. Now when i tell you that this nail polish stayed on for more than 2+ weeks is an understatement. My mothers nail polish stayed on for weeks on in. I thought I would never cut my hair into blunt bangs but I finally did about two months ago. When I tell you that they change your whole look is an understatement. I’m always yelling that I want this edgy look and my gosh it definitely does the trick. I was so happy I took the plunge and let my hairstylist Larry Sims cut my hair into a blunt hairstyle then cut me blunt bangs. He majorly killed it. I love it and I get so many compliments.

However now I see everyone with these blunt bangs since this is a big Fall 2011 hairstyle. I see Mary J. Blige, Kerry Hilson, Carrie Underwood’s, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and every other celebrity known to man with these bangs.  Now for me I hate really sticking to major trends. I like taking pieces here and there or be inspired by what’s new on the scene, but I like being one step ahead of the trends or just do my own thing. So I’m thinking about growing out my bangs again or grow them a little bit longer for  Bardot bangs or Goldie Hawn esque bangs.
